Dani Pedrosa suggests changes: 'Riders rely too much on the different technologies' – Motorcycle Sports

MotoGP is living through an era of technological advances unparalleled in the modern era of competition. For Dani Pedrosa, the riders cannot compete on a technical level with each other because he feels that technological innovations have too much weight in their competitive rates.
‘The technology has changed a lot in the last few years with aerodynamics and all the new gadgets on the bike, and we are still waiting for things to even out. Some manufacturers are more advanced than others, and the rules within the technological possibilities are still open, so we don’t see all factories achieving the best performance with the technical possibilities. I would like to see the technical rules clarified so that we can see the riders competing directly, rather than depending too much on the different technologies,’ said the Spaniard in an interview with an Austrian sponsor.
The KTM test rider retired as a full-time MotoGP rider at the end of 2018, returning for a wildcard last year, finishing in the top ten in Styria.
