Mobileye to supply ADAS, self-driving tech to more Geely subbrands – Automotive News

Mobileye supplied its SuperVision technology to an electric crossover of Geely’s premium EV brand Zeekr in 2021.
Autonomous driving technology developer Mobileye will supply advanced driver-assistance systems and automated vehicle technology to three additional brands under Geely Holding Group.
The three brands are set to launch electric vehicles next year, which will be fitted with its SuperVision technology, the Intel subsidiary said last week, without identifying the brands.
The technology enables a vehicle to change lanes autonomously and navigate intersections,. It also enables automated parking along with preventive steering and braking.
It features 11 high-resolution cameras and provides full visual coverage surrounding the vehicle, according to Mobileye.
In 2021, Mobileye started supplying its SuperVision technology on the 001 electric crossover, the first model from Geely’s premium EV brand Zeekr.
The same technology will be adopted for Zeekr’s two new EV models. It will also develop lidar-based features for Zeekr, Mobileye said.
In addition to Zeekr, Geely builds and markets EVs under the Geometry and Livan brands. It also produces and distributes gasoline and plug-in hybrid models for Geely and Lynk & CO marques.
In the first eight months of the year, Geely, a Hong Kong-listed company, sold 859,110 vehicles under various brands, an increase of 5 percent from a year earlier. The volume includes 136,015 EVs.
