Years ago when we were still in high school, we had bragging rights among ourselves when it came to deer hunting. Back then, it was the first Monday in December that started buck season. The buck season was only for a week long. There was no hunting on Sundays.
As far as doe days went, you had to fill out a computer card, select a zone you wanted to hunt in, and then mail it and hope the computer picked your card. The whole state was divided into sections and you picked what section you wanted to hunt in. Some years you would get your card back in the mail and you were happy because it allowed you to hunt does.
Just like everything else, somebody has a way to beat the system. What you would do is go to the local sporting goods store and they would have a stack of these computer cards that you would pick from.
