Inspired by the waves in Portugal, wallyPDF drops his computer-generated lo-fi single "Beach Dreams" – CelebMix
Taking computer-generated music to the next level is wallyPDF with the incredible lo-fi single “Beach Dreams”. Drifting the listener away, wallyPDF shows that AI music really can transform the music industry as a whole. This follows up his previous single “baby x3”.
wallyPDF, real name Wally Sajimi, is an artificial intelligence composer. Since 2019, he has been experimenting, combining the use of technology with the creative aspects of music. He uses AI (Artificial Intelligence) to lessen the interaction that humans have with music. wallyPDF has the ability to automate 98% of the workload when it comes to his music, which includes creating the track, producing the track, creating the artwork, creating bios on streaming platforms, and releasing the songs. On top of creating music, he also creates motion graphics and art with APIs (Application Programming Interfaces). Having recently signed with Downtown Music, wallyPDF continues to grow his experimental artistry, with over 300,000 monthly listeners and streaming numbers hitting the millions across all streaming platforms, he’s proving that technology and music truly can come together. In 2021, he was also listed as one of Forbes’ 30 Under 30 for marketing and advertising for co-founding Endorsify, he has also co-founded several other companies and is currently the co-founder of Minti.
“I wanted to fuse and integrate technology with music creation. There’s a lack of experimentation between music creation and technology sometimes. People think you need 95% of human interaction to make music, but sometimes you don’t. In the world we live in now, technology has been helping the music industry grow,” wallyPDF says. “In my opinion, [lo-fi] is a genre that has one of the highest replay values in the music industry with mystic anonymous artists who have no egos and care about the art and creation of music.”
Calming and soothing, “Beach Dreams” is a technical masterpiece that really transports the listener to a quiet and secluded beach where the only sounds that are heard are the waves. In a time when lo-fi, ASMR, and relaxing tracks are raking in streaming numbers, wallyPDF shows that he is one of those very forces, using technology to create a dreamy gem of a track that takes us completely away. If you haven’t listened to this multiple times already, you are missing out.
“Beach Dreams” by wallyPDF is available to download and stream right now, across all platforms, via Nietzsche Labs.
