Computer Shop | ITAM | Desktop Support – Utah Valley University
UVU has established procedures and standards for the purchase of desktop and laptop computers in order to realize cost savings in volume purchasing and reduce the number of configurations that need to be supported. Orders are placed through the Wolverine Marketplace and will generate a requisition that will need to be approved. Computers will be delivered to the area tech responsible for the area that ordered the computers. Through this online ordering system, you can order complete systems and a variety of accessories and peripherals.
Repair and warranty work for the Computer Shop is being handled through the IT Tech Bench located in BA-007.
Hours of operation are 9:00a – 4:00p, M-F.

The type of machine that would be ideal for you depends on what you’re going to be doing on it.
