The legal industry looks significantly different than it did even a decade ago. For starters, being good at law is no longer a sure-fire way to succeed. Nearly everyone in legal today understands that law is a business and must be managed as such.
The business of law has evolved significantly with advances in technology, from individual tools to overall digital transformation efforts, as well as the rise of the legal ops function and the proliferation of ALSPs. The pandemic, with its influences on technology, remote working arrangements and more, has helped reshape the business of law even more.
