“I’ve heard there’s going to be a recession. I’ve decided not to participate”- these are the famous words by Walt Disney, which might sound like wisdom for the coming times. Being affected by the apparent, imminent recession that speculators, analysts, and financial wizards debate on, would, to someone like Walt Disney, be a choice! However, the rest of us might need to participate and get sucked into a vortex of depression or learn to ‘recession-proof’ our jobs and businesses, to survive, and maybe even thrive.
Just out of a pandemic that we are not even sure is over, opinions are divided on whether there’ll be a worldwide recession. Regardless, forewarned is forearmed, and so, let us look at the technologies that will help tide over any likely recession and skillsets that could be considered recession-proof.
