ARREST: Brown, Barry Lee Jr. – (18) 7611(a)(1) – Unlaw. Use of Computer (F3) and 2 – Cumberland County | CRIMEWATCH PA
On July 15, 2022, the Lower Allen Township Police Department’s arrest warrant for Barry Lee Brown Jr. was served.
On November 11th, 2021 at 9:30 AM, the Lower Allen Township Police Department received a case from Member’s 1st Federal Credit Union Investigators. Between September 2nd, 2021 and September 7th, 2021, six checks were deposited remotely to a new Member’s 1st account. Following these deposits, numerous debit card transactions and ATM withdrawals were conducted.
The checks were returned as “refer to maker” and “non-sufficient funds.” Due to these checks returning, Member’s 1st Federal Credit Union suffered a total loss of $1,228.54, with fees.
Through investigation, Jennifer and Barry Brown were identified as the suspects in this case.
Charges were filed and an arrest warrant has been issued. Warrant served.
