Pittsburgh police say the man seen in these photos in relation to the deadly Easter Sunday shooting at a Suismon Street Airbnb has been identified.
In their Wednesday update, police did not publicly release the man’s name, nor did they say if he was a suspect or person of interest in the mass shooting. Cara Cruz with the Department of Public Safety said the man “is someone police would like to speak with.”

Two 17-year-olds, Matthew Steffy-Ross and Jaiden Brown, were killed in the April 17 shooting at an Airbnb rental. Nine others were injured by gunfire. Several more people were also hurt while jumping out of windows to escape.
Isaac Falvey, the board of directors’ president of the community alliance of Spring Garden and East Deutschtown, told Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 that there was a community meeting held Tuesday night, and though photos were released by police leading to possible leads, he said many residents still expressed frustration towards police officers at the meeting.
“(Police) said that even though there hasn’t been anything published, there is a lot of investigations,” Falvey said. “It’s on the forefront of what they’re doing, they haven’t just let it go by the wayside.”
Falvey added that the shooting brought their community a lot of unwanted, negative attention.
“We want results, I’m sure the police want results, too, but again, a lot of people saw a lot of bad things in our neighborhood that night and they want to have a peace of mind the police are going to get who’s responsible for them,” Falvey said.
