As 2022 comes to a close, traditional technologies are taking a temporary backseat as newer innovations are grabbing headlines with their potential to propel the legal industry light years ahead.
In recent months, generative AI for art and text has taken the world by storm, raising new possibilities for streamlining legal work—and more than a few legal questions. The metaverse has also been a hot topic, with Big Law officially making the leap to virtual existence over the past year. Finally, NFTs, cryptocurrency and blockchain remain the topic of much debate, particularly in light of the recent FTX meltdown.
