Marin Offers Virtual Computer Literacy Classes – Patch
MARIN COUNTY, CA — Need help getting up to speed with the latest tech?
A Marin County Free Library program aims to help with computer literacy classes.
The program is presented by MCFL partner Technology4Life.
The classes will be held virtually and will be archived on the MCFL’s YouTube page for six months.
The program will cover a variety of topics including the basics of using Gmail, using the Google suite of products, organizing digital photos, smartphone use, social media use, online buying, and Microsoft Word basics.
Classes will be offered through April 2023.
The next class, scheduled for 6 p.m. Dec. 13, is about how to organize photographic archives by using Google Photos.
Some classes are available in Spanish.
