Falcons fans had to wait until round three but the team finally drafted a quarterback on Friday night, selecting Cincinnati’s Desmond Ridder with the 74th overall pick.
A few spots later, Atlanta drafted Western Kentucky edge rusher DeAngelo Malone at pick No. 82. With their first five selections, the Falcons have drafted a wide receiver, two edge rushers, an interior linebacker and a quarterback.
