In recent years, the growing power of robots has us all convinced that high-functioning computers and robots are truly our future. Robots are being deployed for various forms of work, including cooking at restaurants and making humans’ lives easier than expected. Recent innovations are pushing robotic technology to remove humans from managing underground drainage systems. Tamil Nadu is about to deploy robotic technology to assist in the completion of the underground drainage system that works across the city.
Experts say that if innovation and development are conducted on time, the technology will be adopted this month to identify blockages occurring along its network. The diaphragm chambers have already been put into place in some of the city’s buildings. Officials are already wary that the UGD network is getting clogged with non-biodegradable waste, pushing them to mull robotic technology in aiding the corporation. The government is already in talks with several industrial robot manufacturing companies that can offer advanced machines for this operation.
As technology evolves, robots are now mostly used for dirty, dull, repetitive, and dangerous tasks that require high precision. Using robots helps companies offer services with minimal human errors, besides, it also protects humans from unforeseen dangers. The fact that robotic technology and automation are crossing all manners of price, performance, and adoption levels show how eagerly humans are trying to innovate and help AI and its adjoining technologies to grow in relevance.
Besides India, major countries like South Korea, Japan, and the UK, to name a few are adopting robotic technologies to ensure the safety and advancement of our society. Megatrends in robotics are dominating global industries and now governments are tapping into the power of these revolutionizing technologies to transform our future.
