What to know for the 2022 Volusia-Flagler-St. John High School Sports Awards – Daytona Beach News-Journal
The 2022 Volusia-Flagler-St. John High School Sports Awards will be held live on Monday, May 23, at Peabody Auditorium, beginning at 7:30 p.m. The show is produced with the support of Halifax Health.
Fall and winter nominees were announced in the previous few months. They also appear at the end of this story with the sport-specific coaches of the year from the tri-county area.
Spring nominees were released earlier this week and can be found here.
This year’s show will be a combined show with the Greater Jacksonville High School Sports Awards.
The show honors more than 200 high school athletes from across the Volusia, Flagler, and St. Johns area, as well as awarding players of the year for more than 20 sports. It will also include several major awards, including overall Girls Player of the Year, Boys Player of the Year, Team of the Year, Coach of the Year and Courage Award.

The Volusia-Flagler-St. John High School Sports Awards is part of the USA Today High School Sports Awards program, the largest high school sports recognition program in the country.
