Scotts Miracle-Gro Hires New Finance Chief From Minerals Technologies >SMG – MarketWatch

Scotts Miracle-Gro Co. on Monday said it named Matthew Garth as executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective Dec. 1, plucking the executive from Minerals Technologies Inc.
Mr. Garth had been serving as chief financial officer and senior vice president of treasury and finance for Minerals Technologies since joining that company in early 2017.
Scotts board member David Evans has been serving as interim chief financial officer since late August, after the Marysville, Ohio, maker of lawn- and garden-care products and its former finance chief, Cory Miller, agreed to part ways.

Appaloosa Management LP, run by billionaire David Tepper, dumped its holdings in Walt Disney Co. undefined, Netflix Inc. undefined and Micron Technology Inc. undefined, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing late Monday. In the filing, Appaloosa no longer listed shares of Disney or Netflix, which it reported having a 50,000-share stake in each in August, or Micron, which it listed as having 575,000 shares previously. Appaloosa also trimmed holdings in Meta Platforms Inc. undefined, Microsoft Corp. undefined, and Salesforce Inc. undefined, according to the filing.
